Statement of Faith

God

I believe in one God, creator of all things and His only begotten son Jesus Christ; who before the foundation of the world the Father ordained to be the substitutionary atonement for the sin of man. The Son is the second person in the triune Godhead and the only way to eternal life. (John 14:6) It is by His sovereign grace through faith that man is justified, sanctified, and ultimately glorified into His likeness. I believe that Jesus Christ rose in fullness on the third day and is now mediator between fallen man and Holy God.

Scripture

As to Scripture. All Scripture is God breathed and inerrant in its original manuscript.  It was written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and remains the only true and authentic Word of God to all peoples.  I believe the Scriptures have been preserved in their authenticity, and are profitable for all instruction in life, and godliness

The Church

I believe the church to have been established by Christ for the building up of the saints and the primary tool in Gospel penetration to all nations. She is the bride of Christ and this community of faith is to be treasured as a gift from God to his people. The church is to be led by people of sincere faith and governed in humility by the pastoral eldership He provides. Empowered the Holy Spirit, the body of Christ serves a purifying role in the process of sanctification. The church is accountable to Christ for faithful teaching of the Scriptures, mobilization of believers for the great commission, earnest Christ-centered discipleship as well as the discipline and restoration of sin-battered souls through biblical Christ-centered counsel.

Ministry

God has called all believers to bear witness and minister in His name. He has also set aside servants to equip the Body of Christ for the work of that ministry. (Ephesians 4:11) The Lord called me to His service at the age of 17. He has confirmed that calling through His word and His body over the course of the last 19 years. My calling is to obedient and faithful service, regardless of vocation, participating in the propagation of the gospel to all nations.

Mission

To faithfully teach and apply the Word of God, in the ministry of worship through Exaltation, Evangelization, Edification and Education. This ministry primarily, but not exclusively, uses music in its fulfillment. I am first given to the ministry of the Word and then to my given mode of communication, music.
